Here's the fancy layout version of my mushroom. I didn't manage to get the balloon part finished, but I'll probably do that one my own time.

WIP Gantz Super Suit - Step by Step pics

This is the inspirational fan art.
I decided to change the character's gender to male for an extra challenge.

I drew up a quick sketch using Alchemy.

ZSpheres

Failed ZSketch

Improved ZSketch

The shoulder pads were getting in the way.
I'll have to add a separate sub-tool for them.

This is what I have so far.
I really want to finish this piece ASAP.

Lily

This is Lily, one of my characters I created for my concept art class a couple semesters ago.

The original concept:

I intend to texture the low poly version of her using the Zbrush model as a normal map.

I'm not sure if my anatomy is totally perfect, but I feel like I improved it from what it was before. I guess I'll get better with figures if I work with them more.

Her hair and the little cape on her back will be done later separately.

Project 2 - Week 7?

I scrapped my human model and started working off of this concept, which gives me a bit more creative freedom.  (I think the website said it's from star wars or something)

Here's my progress so far:

Week 5 Project

Wee 5 almost done.
This is my sculpt, I added the hell hand and now my next step is to polypaint it and retopologyze to render in the marmoset engine with normal mapping for games.

This is the basemesh I am using, i started working with zspheres, then use the magic of GoZ to make some changes in maya. I also did the hell hand in maya and imported it as a subtool in zbrush!...time to sculpt.

As a reminder I am using this character as an entry for Comicon Challange and my Zbrush class

Base Mesh - Bjerke

This is the base mesh for my human model.  The end result I am hoping to achieve is a well-sculpted character along with clothing (further on)

Organic Modeling Class

Hi everyone,

This will be our dedicated blog for this class. This is where I would like you to post 3 different views of each of your completed projects. I will be posting tutorials and giving feedback on your work as you post it.

I would also like you to post a description of your work flow, your process, and your detailed final touches to make it look amazing. Put your time into your projects so they will be amazing portfolio pieces.

This blog can be a great resource for us to learn from one another. Give praise and constructive comments to each others work. You can also post work you have done outside this class and share it with the rest of us.

ENJOY! :)
